25 Jul 2018

The General Chiropractic Council (GCC) is delighted to be moving into newly refurbished offices at the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in Kennington on Monday 30 July 2018. This new accommodation offers a large shared reception area to welcome visitors and creates a modern dedicated office space that improves the working environment. The GCC will also be sharing the specialist facilities of the Health and Care Professions Tribunal Service building for professional conduct hearings.

Tricia McGregor, Interim Chief Executive and Registrar, General Chiropractic Council said
‘The GCC values working together with a range of organisations to collaborate, share learning and partner on projects.  We are looking forward to working in such close proximity with our colleagues at the HCPC.’

Marc Seale, Chief Executive and Registrar, Health and Care Professions Council said
‘This is the first time two health and care regulators have co-located in this way and we see this as a positive development for both of us. We very much look forward to welcoming the GCC to our offices.’

The GCC and the HCPC will continue to maintain their own standards and regulatory processes as governed by their specific legislation. The GCC will continue to work closely with the Professional Associations and the Royal College of Chiropractors to support the development of the profession.
