As usual, our offices will be closed over the August Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday 28 August to Monday 30 August (inclusive). Our phone lines and the majority of our inboxes will not be monitored over this period.
However, there is a limited Registration service available, to respond to urgent queries from registrants whose renewal period ends on 31 August 2021.
Information about the areas operating this support, and how you can contact us if your query falls into one of these, is below. If your query falls outside these areas, we will respond to your query as soon as possible after the weekend.
August Bank Holiday Weekend 2021
The renewal deadline for paramedics and orthoptists is Tuesday 31 August 2021, the day after the Bank Holiday. We know that registrants may need urgent support in the days before this.
If you cannot log into your online account, please contact us as soon as possible.
Issues you do not need to contact us about
If you are a paramedic or orthoptist who has completed their renewal and are waiting for the payment to be taken via direct debit, please be assured your payment will be taken on 1 or 15 September 2021 (depending when you submitted your renewal application). Your status on the Register will update on 1 September 2021.
If you are a paramedic or orthoptist who has completed the renewal steps and either paid your fee in full or set up a direct debit, you do not need to contact us. Your status on the Register will update on (or before) 1 September 2021.
Contacting us with other urgent queries
Members of the Registration team will be responding to emails on Saturday 28 August, Sunday 29 August and Monday 30 August to resolve urgent issues before the renewal deadline.
If you are trying to contact us about your renewal with a deadline later than 31 August 2021, please be assured we will contact you after the weekend.
Unfortunately we are not able to provide applicants with updates over the weekend. Our team will continue to process applications during this time, so many applicants will receive updates in the days following.
If you urgently require advice over the Bank Holiday weekend please contact the Registration team over email. If your enquiry can be answered after Tuesday 31 August please do not use this method, as we will only respond to urgent enquiries.
We will not be providing a weekend service in any other departments and their inboxes will not be monitored over this time.
