We recognise that being part of the Fitness to Practise (FTP) process can be a stressful experience.
To help registrants during that time, we've partnered with CiC, a leading wellbeing service provider, to give independent, confidential and free emotional support and practical advice to all HCPC registrants involved in the FTP process.
What does the service offer?
The service provides you with access to emotional wellbeing support and practical advice to help you manage any impacts the FTP process might have on your daily life.
It's available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, free and run independently.

Registrants going through the FTP process.

Who will I speak to?
All CiC counsellors are trained and accredited professionals who are experienced in providing you with tailored support and solutions.
CiC won't know specific details of your FTP case unless you choose to share it with them. If you have specific questions about your case, contact your HCPC case manager whose contact details can be found in correspondence you have received from us.
Who will know that I’ve used the service?
Your details are confidential and CiC won’t tell us or anyone else that you’ve used their services. They provide us with general statistics about how many people have used the service and the reasons for use without sharing information which could identify individuals.
