On Friday 5 September our Fitness to Practise team will be attending a division-wide development day and will not be available.

In collaboration with professional healthcare organisations, we have launched a set of consent principles aimed at improving informed decision-making and reducing patient and service user harm.

During the festive period this year we’ll be closing temporarily, beginning at 12 noon on 24 December 2025. We will reopen on 2 January 2026 as normal.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Council Apprentices who will be joining our Council and committees from 31 January 2026.  

We emailed education providers due their performance review in 2025-26 in late June. Providers who will undergo the process this year (2025-26) will have been given specific requirements and a key contact to work with at the HCPC.

While we are not responsible for providing funding or direct financial support for the education providers or programmes we approve, we are keen to provide clarity and guidance where we can.
