In 2018, we raised the level of qualification for paramedics’ registration. Previously paramedics needed to achieve ‘Equivalent to Certificate of Higher Education’ to become registered. Currently they need to achieve ’Bachelor degree with honours’.

We'll look at why EDI matters, how it can be applied to different roles and how you could develop your knowledge and skills to embed the principles in your own practice.

We have developed an eLearning module which combines a refresher on EDI and includes aspects of unconscious bias and sexual harassment. In addition, all partners have to receive training on information security as they deal with information on behalf of the HCPC.

A review that brings together evidence relating to the return to clinical or frontline practice of health and social care professionals following an extended period of absence

This is also known as a certificate of current professional status (CCPS) or letter of good standing. You may require this if you're applying for a job or registration in a country outside the UK. 

A 45-minute session looking at employers' responsibilities around raised concerns, including the importance of listening to them, barriers around them and how to overcome those barriers. We'll also look at effective approaches to acting upon raised concerns.
