#myhcpcstandards: Leadership

In this webinar we will explore the role and importance of leadership at all levels of practice for HCPC registrants.

Keeping information safe

You need to take all reasonable steps to protect information about service users. By ‘reasonable steps’, we mean that you need to take sensible, practical measures to make sure that you keep the information safe.

Standards in your words

HCPC registered professionals discuss what our standards mean to them

Health and social care regulators

We work closely with the other UK health regulators to share best practice in a variety of areas. These include HR, education, equality and diversity, communications and governance.

Bringing profession into disrepute / inappropriate comments on social media

Case study: A paramedic self-referred after he posted inappropriate comments on social media, which caused his employer to suspend him.

Professional liaison groups

A professional liaison group (or ‘PLG’) provides advice to the Council or committees on strategic issues. Either the Council, or a committee can decide to set up a PLG, to look at a specific issue and report back.

Section 5 – English language proficiency

Readmission

This section is for applicants who have previously been on the Register and would like to re-join it.
