We’re currently reviewing the standards of education and training to make sure they're up-to-date. We invite all patients, service users, patient groups and representatives to an online workshop to share their thoughts, needs and experiences.

We’re reviewing our sanctions policy to improve consistency and further strengthen decision-making by independent fitness to practise (FTP) panels. The consultation is running from 29 May 2025 to 1 September 2025.

Interprofessional education is an important area to the HCPC, to ensure learners are properly prepared for practice. We have identified good practice and challenges with education provider approaches to embedding and delivering interprofessional education.
