In 2018, we raised the level of qualification for paramedics’ registration. Previously paramedics needed to achieve ‘Equivalent to Certificate of Higher Education’ to become registered. Currently they need to achieve ’Bachelor degree with honours’.

We recognise that the fitness to practise process can be a stressful experience so we try to make our process as open and clear as possible

The Professional Liaison Service now operates with a Consultant in each of the four UK nations, who can design and deliver solutions that are specific to registrant and employer needs.
