We have successfully concluded our first inclusive mentoring programme Beyond Barriers, launched earlier this year.

This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by senior Council members and to engage in discussions and decisions on important public interest matters, and I look forward to welcoming our new Council Apprentices.

The consultation on preceptorship sets out our ambition to construct a set of principles that can support registrants, employers and the wider sector in delivering better healthcare by ensuring healthcare professionals are better supported at key points in their careers.

CPD activities can take many forms, and can include activity which you are doing as part of your usual working day.

This data primarily relates to the application of the previous (or legacy) model, which was discontinued at the end of the 2020-21 academic year, and replaced by the new model.

This report provides highlights from the data set produced, focusing on time and quality wherever possible.

Our aim in this report is to be transparent about how we handle disclosures, highlight the action taken about these issues, and to improve collaboration across the health sector.
