Standards of education and training: pre-consultation workshop (students)

We’re currently reviewing the standards of education and training to make sure they're up-to-date. We invite all patients, service users, patient groups and representatives to an online workshop to share their thoughts, needs and experiences.

Watch: Employer webinar - English language proficiency review and revising the standards of conduct, performance and ethics

This is a recording of an in-depth webinar designed for employers and managers of HCPC registrants, looking at the upcoming changes to the HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics and social media guidance, and English language proficiency review consultation.

Remote supervision

Case study: Raff is a hearing aid dispenser working in independent practice. He has just started running his own business as a sole practitioner in a remote location in the Scottish Highlands.

Our equality, diversity and inclusion strategy

Our EDI strategy sets out how the HCPC intends to achieve our overarching vision of an actively anti-discriminatory organisation, and is supported by an EDI action plan

Employers

Employers, including those who manage, supervise or lead the work of HCPC registered professionals, play a key role providing a number of functions, including checking their employees’ registration

Case studies of fitness to practise concerns

Our case studies illustrate the types of issues that are taken into consideration by a panel when deciding if a registrant’s fitness to practise is impaired

Visitors will need to provide pre-visit feedback

Under our revised approval process, visitors will be required to provide feedback in a structured way, noting broad areas of concern, within two weeks of receiving the documentary submission
